Abstract

The independent curriculum renews science learning in elementary schools to become science learning, namely natural and social sciences, in science learning activities there is a lot of material that students can learn including physics and biology. This study uses the ADDIE research design. The aim of this study was to produce a valid, practical, and effective PBL-based e-LKPD to improve students' cognitive understanding in learning Earth Rotation and Revolution. The results of the e-LKPD Validity test on the aspects of language, media, and material assessment respectively obtained the Aiken indexes of 0.8941, 0.8958, and 0.8837 which were interpreted as very valid. The practicality test results from the educator's response in the aspects of learning design, concept, appearance, and language are categorized as very good. Practicality testing based on student responses on aspects of learning design, concepts, appearance, and language in general is considered very good. Based on the effectiveness test with reference to the N-Gain Score, it was concluded that the development of the PBL Model-Based Earth Rotation and Revolution e-LKPD was to improve students' cognitive thinking.
