Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology has brought changes in various aspects of life, including in the field of education. One of the technologies that can be utilized in the learning of Indonesian Language and Literature is Text to Speech (TTS) technology and Voice Changer. TTS technology can convert text into voice with good quality, while Voice Changer allows users to modify their voice into various desired characters. This research aims to explore the utilization of TTS (Text-to-Speech) technology and Voice Changer in enhancing language skills and literary appreciation among students. The methods employed include literature review and observation of several learning practices that incorporate both technologies. The findings indicate that TTS and Voice Changer technologies can assist students in improving their reading, listening, speaking skills, and literary appreciation. TTS technology can help students read texts with correct intonation and pronunciation, while Voice Changer can be used to dramatize literary works or to portray characters in a story. This research provides insights into how TTS technology and Voice Changer can be effectively integrated into the learning of Indonesian Language and Literature. In addition, this research also highlights the challenges and opportunities in the implementation of that technology in the classroom. By utilizing technology appropriately, the learning process can become more engaging, interactive, and meaningful for students.
