Hubungan Antara Motivasi Belajar Dengan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Peserta Didik Kelas Tinggi SD Negeri 6 Metro Barat

The problem in this research was the critical thinking skills of high class students at SD Negeri 6 Metro Barat have not been maximized. This research aims to determine the relationship between learning motivation and critical thinking skills. This type of research is quantitative with an ex post facto correlation method. The population was 205 students with a research sample using proportional stratified random sampling, obtaining 71 students. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and test instruments. Data analysis techniques use normality tests, linearity tests, and hypothesis tests product moment correlation. The results of this research show that there is a positive and significant relationship between learning motivation and critical thinking skills with a correlation coefficient of 0.655 which is in the "strong" criteria.
