Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine students' mathematical creative thinking abilities by applying the CPS learning model assisted by mind mapping to achieve completeness and to find out the average students' mathematical creative thinking abilities using the CPS model assisted by mind mapping are better than conventional learning models. This type of research includes quasi experimental research with a Posttest Only Control Group Design. The population of this study were all class X students at SMK Muhammadiyah Karanganyar with samples from class The data collection technique uses the test method. Data analysis techniques use the proportion test (Z test) and the average difference test (t test). The results of the research show 1) the creative mathematical thinking ability of students who were taught using the CPS learning model assisted by mind mapping achieved completeness, 2) the average creative mathematical thinking ability of students who applied the CPS learning model assisted with mind mapping was better than students who applied the conventional learning model.
