The problem of this research is that the learning activities that teachers provide are more directed at reading, writing and arithmetic which are not in accprdance with the implementation of learning in PAUD which should be done through playing.. This study aims to determine the relationship between academic qualifications and the ability of teachers to carry out early childhood learning in the Sugarcane Plantation District. The research method includes quantitative research, with the type of ex-post facto research. The data collection technique is done by using observation and documentation. The data analysis technique to test the hypothesis was used Spearman rank correlation analysis. The results showed that there is a strong relationship between academic qualifications and the ability of teachers to carry out learning, in which the suitability of teacher academic qualifications has a strong influence on the implementation of learning that teachers give to children.
