Abstract

This study aims among others: (1) To determine the implementation of the word guessing method in increasing student teaching activity in Arabic subjects at MI Masyarikul Anwar Depok, (2) To find out the results of student learning activity from the implementation of the word guessing method in Arabic subjects at MI Masyarikul Anwar Depok. The approach used is a classroom action research (PTK) approach with data collection through observation, documentation, open interviews. The results of the study are as follows: (1) implementation in Arabic learning begins with preliminary activities, then core activities, and group word guessing methods in closing activities, (2) the percentage of student learning activity in cycle I reaches 49.9%, cycle II reaches 75%. The conclusion is that the word guessing method can increase student learning activity in Arabic language subjects about activities at home at MI Masyarikul Anwar Depok.
