Tradisi Lisan Takanab Sebagai Kearifan Lokal Masyarakat Timor

Abstract

In a broad sense, local wisdom is formed as a cultural advantage of local and regional communities, with more emphasis on place and locality. In East Nusa Tenggara there is a local wisdom, namely Takanab. The purpose of this writing is to find out the local wisdom values ​​contained in the Takanab oral tradition. The method in this study uses qualitative research with an approach used to explore and understand the central symptoms obtained through interviews. With data analysis using descriptive qualitative. Based on data analysis, the results show that the values ​​of local wisdom in the Takanab oral tradition are manifested through stones and water, stone pillars and fences, traditional houses, heirlooms and woven motifs. Every form of local wisdom manifests noble values ​​that reflect the collective culture of the Dawan people.
