Abstract

Analysis of the Application of the Realistic Mathematical Education (RME) Model as an Effort to Overcome Elementary Mathematics Learning Difficulties. The purpose of writing this article is to find out the application of the RME model as an effort to overcome difficulties in learning elementary mathematics. In learning mathematics, there is a need for innovation from educators regarding learning models so that learning objectives can be achieved. The research method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the type of grouping 5 articles with the same research results from a population of 10 articles that match the title. The research results obtained are that the RME learning model in elementary mathematics learning is very effectively applied and can overcome the difficulties of learning elementary mathematics so that student learning outcomes also increase. The RME model is very suitable to be applied as a learning model in mathematics lessons, where this learning model is based on everyday experiences or mathematical realities so that students are able to solve math problems.
