Abstract

The purpose of this article is to explain the importance of character education to improve student discipline and responsibility. Character education focuses on the development of moral values and positive behavior of students. The research method used in this article is a library research method, namely collecting and analyzing relevant and reliable sources. Data collection techniques can come from books or magazines, articles and other sources that contain the required information. This research method includes several functions, including researchers who deal directly with text (scripts) or numerical data that are not the results of field research, even field witnesses or people who experience the event. about the importance of character education to improve student discipline and responsibility.
