Penggunaan Desmos Sebagai Media Pembelajaran Untuk Meningkatkan Minat Dan Hasil Belajar Matematika SMP

This research aims to enhance students' interest and achievement in mathematics by utilizing Desmos as a learning media. The research methodology employed is Classroom Action Research (CAR), involving a total of 40 students from class IX A at SMP Negeri 2 Banyuke Hulu in the academic year 2022/2023. Data collection was conducted through documentation, observation, and testing methods. Data analysis was carried out through the process of data analysis, data presentation, and data verification. The research findings demonstrate an improvement in students' interest and learning achievement in Quadratic Equations. There was an increase in the average student interest score from 59.8 to 66.4, indicating a shift from a moderate level to a high level. Furthermore, there was an increase in the average student learning achievement score from 64 at the beginning of the research to 75 in cycle I, and further increased to 81 in cycle II. The percentage of students who reached the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) also increased from 45% at the beginning of the research to 62.5% in cycle I, and reached 87.5% in cycle II.
