Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of social media-influenced counselling in high school students. The research sample consisted of 77 learners selected through a survey using a questionnaire on Google Form. This study used an observational approach with a quantitative data approach. The analysis showed that the majority of students felt positively towards the use of social media in school counselling, with benefits such as increased positive habits in using social media, better academic and career future planning. The findings suggest that the integration of social media in counselling services can provide significant benefits to SM students. This research provides important insights into the potential of social media as an effective tool in supporting counselling services in the digital era, and emphasises the importance of responsiveness and adaptability in utilising technology for the benefit of students.
